I lost 15 pounds in four months. I've continued to lose weight, too. It just keeps coming off without even trying. I started my lifestyle change by adding organic virgin coconut oil to Cherie's recipe "Awesome Green Smoothie", which I make every morning for breakfast. I also increased my vegetable intake, reduced refined carbohydrates, ate lean meat and fish, and added this healthy coconut oil to my diet. Then I started juicing veggies, which took me to a higher level of health.
My health has improved significantly since I started Cherie's program The Coconut Diet and her juice program. My allergies decreased considerably. Once I changed my diet, I had more of a desire to eat healthier. I also have more energy to get things done. I really like the energy that I enjoy today. I'm now able to exercise without feeling totally exhausted afterward.
I used to wake up in the morning feeling grumpy and more tired than when I went to bed. Now, I'm waking up happy and feeling better than ever. This is such a breakthrough for me. Even in the gloomy winter weather I'm still happy. That makes my family a lot happier, too.
At one point in my program, I just wasn't losing weight. Cherie, who's been my nutritionist, suggested I try the liver cleanse from Phase II of The Coconut Diet. After being on the liver cleanse for about a week, I really noticed the difference in my weight loss and how much better I felt.
Thanks to The Coconut Diet program, I have more energy, my allergies to certain foods have cleared up, I'm happier, my dull, lifeless hair is now strong and shiny, my eyes are sparkling instead of dull, and spots on my skin are completely gone. I wasn't sure how Cherie's program would change my life when I first started. Now, I'm a believer! Doing all these good things that started by taking coconut oil has given me a desire to eat healthier. I love how good I feel and never want to lose that. I'm not sick like I used to be. And I'm happier than I've ever been.
